I started this blog with intentions of keeping it up to date for all of those that are interested in how "we" the Litt family are doing down here in Texas. Now of course, that sounded much easier than it actually is. Being at home with my daughters is such a blessing but it absolutely keeps me busy---which means any time I have a free moment I usually choose to nap =] Right at this very moment I am watching Aireus smack Liselle repeatedly with a towel that I put out to clean up the cup of water Miss Lizzy spilled..Prior to that I hear Liselle saying "broken...broken," so I run into the girl's bathroom to find the snow globe that I had bought D about two years ago...shattered on the floor. Thankfully no injuries to my little ones. Going back about an hour before this incident I am in the kitchen cleaning up the dishes I hear Liz calling for HEWWWWP (help). I run into the living room to find her standing on her chair reaching for the globe...that of course, is now in pieces wrapped in bags and outside of our front door! So as you can see, today....Liselle is my
T R O U B L E; however please note that I say that with the LOVE! And the reason I am sharing this with those of you that choose to read is so that you can understand that being a mother of multiples---nothing stays the same. One day Aireus may be throwing herself on the floor, screaming and trying to attack her sister----then the next day the roles have reversed and Liselle is my out of control toddler. People constantly ask me, which one is more outgoing? Who smiles more? Well the truth is, they are just like YOU or I. They have mood swings, nothing is constant but change. And let me just say, I would not change becoming a mother of multiples...not even if someone offered me a billion dollars. Becoming a mama was the best thing that ever happened to me. It changed my life for the better. I'll save the discussion of being a "mom" for another blog because I can feel that this is already a bit long & off topic. So back to Texas.....
We've been here almost two months. I have not seen the rain in over a month however the forecast shows some chance of rain early next week. I do not miss my job. I miss the money, but money comes and goes...missing my daughters growing up is something that is priceless and I intend to enjoy for as long as possible =] Darius is doing well, he just got home from being in the field for a week. He plans on reclassing to MP (Military Police) when his contract is up in 3 years. I start school January 18th---which I'm sure will be quite a long journey and is something that I wish I would've start long, long ago. I would LOVE to fly home with the girls sometime before I start school but financially---I don't think that will happen unless a jaw dropping sale is advertised haha.
Okay well...my swirlies (cocoa vanilla baby girlies) are bringing me their yo gabba gabba toys wanting me to make them dance...mommy duty calls =]
